From deep to dub to acid, the eclectic sounds of Jozef K span the width and breadth of house & techno, sometimes laced with subtle melodics, more often fully packed with heart, soul & emotion. Having already released on stellar labels such as Last Night on Earth, Anjunadeep and Afro Acid, and gaining support from the likes of Dubfire, The Black Madonna, Maya Jane Coles & Sasha along the way, he follows his well received remix of Onur Özman on our recent vinyl release, with his first full EP on the label, delivering four stunning originals laced with dreamy pianos, raw edged acid lines and stripped down grooves. On remix duties is fast rising Belgian talent Locked Groove who follows his debut album release on Hotflush, with a rework of ‘Ulvetanna’, moulding the original into an epic journey intertwining industrial techno and uplifting house, with a nostalgic nod to old school trance to boot.
The music is paired with original artwork by LA based designer Martín Vidal, a stunning reflection on dreamstates, life, death, love and loss.
And so continues the story of a label built on the foundations of an unquenchable thirst for the underground and a yearning for the sounds of the future, the past and all that emerges in between. Unceasing. Limitless. A constant circle.
